Un chal de regalo

Esta semana hemos celebrado el Amig@ Invisible con mis amigas, toda una tradición ente nosotras. Y esta vez he decidido sorprender a mi sorprendida con un chal.

Se trata del "Half Triangle Shawl". Un chal bastante sencillo tejido con el punto de los "granny squares". Podéis ver un tutorial en esta entrada, donde os mostraba un chal que me he empezado y que aún no he podido acabar por ir avanzando otros proyectos. (Excusas baratas...)

He utilizado un ganchillo un número más grueso para que quedara más esponjoso. 

Para el remate he utilizado el tutorial que ofrece Angie en su blog, pero sólo he tejido la primera vuelta del gráfico. 

I used a bigger hook to make it softier.
For the boder I used the tutorial that you can find in the Angie's blog, but this time I have crocheted   only the first row of the graphic.

Agujas circulares

Ha sido la primera vez que he trabajado con agujas circulares y he escogido un cuello sencillo que finalmente ha sido un regalo de Navidad para mi sobrina.

Hasta ahora prefería trabajar con ganchillo con agujas de punto de media por la comodidad en el sofá y porque de la pose cogía dolor en hombros y cervicales (sí, jejejeje...). Pero las agujas circulares son muy cómodas para trabajar,  me ha encantado la experiencia. Ahora tendré que buscar patrones para ellas...

To date I preferred to work with crochet hooks than with knitting hooks because I picked shoulder and neck pain (yes, hehehehe ...). But the circular needles are very comfortable to work, I loved the experience. Now I have to find patterns for them ...

Caga Tió

Esta Navidad el primero en llegar a casa ha sido el "Tió de Nadal", un simpático tronco típico en Catalunya,  que caga regalos la víspera de Navidad después de que los niños le canten canciones y le den con un bastón.

Intercambio de otoño

Esta semana se ha realizado el intercambio de otoño del grupo The Spanish Swap en Ravelry y aquí os muestro el súper paquete que Cohete Naranja, mi sorprendedora, me ha enviado.

La primera sorpresa me la encontré al abrir la caja, ya que encontré un montón de paquetitos muy bien envueltos.

MANTA SOLIDARIA

Este domingo se celebró la 2ª gala benéfica organizada por la plataforma solidaria Esabar Saharui Badalona. Para la ocasión y gracias a la participacion de La Creativa Mertxesites y sus alumnas (entre las que me incluyo) se confeccionó una fantástica manta solidaria para el sorteo y recaudar dinero.

Quedó súper bonita y aquí os dejo las fotos para que lo comprobeis!

Last sunday is celebrated the 2nd annual benefit gala organized by Esabar Saharaui Badalona. For the occasion The Creative Mertxesites and her girs (I include myself) was crocheted a fantastic blanket for raise money.

Half Triangle Shawl: TUTORIAL

Sigo enganchada, lo confieso... Voy avanzando lenta, pero segura. Así que quiero compartir con vosotras un "cutre tutorial" del "Half Triangle Shawl". Y digo cutre porque las fotos no son muy buenas, pero la intención si que lo es, así que allá vamos:

PA- punto alto

Montar 4 cadenetas y cerrar en círculo con punto raso en la primera cadeneta formando un anillo.
Chain 4 and join with sl stich to first chain to form ring.

Montar 4 cadenetas. Equivalen al 1º punto alto y una cadeneta.
Chain 4 (used as 1 dc and 1 ch).

Montar 3 PA, 2 cadenetas, 3 PA, 1 cadeneta y 1 un PA
3 dc, chain 2, 3 dc, chain 1 and 1 dc.

Montar 4 cadenetas (equivalen al 1r PA y una cadeneta). Girar la labor de manera que la parte recta quede hacia abajo.
Chain 4 (used as 1 dc and 1 ch). Turn down
 

3 PA en el 1º espacio, 1 cadeneta, 3 PA en el siguiente espacio, 2 cadenetas, 3 PA en el mismo espacio, 1 cadeneta, 3 PA en el siguiente espacio, 1 cadeneta y 1 PA en el mismo espacio.
3 dc in first space, chain 1, 3 dc in the next space, chain 2, 3 dc in the same space, chain 1, 3 dc, chain 1 and 1 dc in the same space.

Esta vuelta se repetirá tantas veces como queramos, teniendo en cuenta que el centro siempre lo forman 2 grupos de 3 PA separados por dos cadenetas.

Repeat this round until shawl is the size you want it. Noting that the center point always have 2 groups of 3 dc separated by 2 chain.

Enganchada! Así estoy desde ayer,cuando después de mucho pensar en cómo gastaba esta lana, finalmente me decidí por un chal con el mismo punto que los "granny squares".
Y un fin de semana de 4 días por delante!!!

Ahora que por fin hace más frío, apetece más tejer, pero si encima es por una buena causa, mejor que mejor!

Mercè y Lola, que regentan la merceria La Creativa Mertxesites, organizan un acto solidario para recaudar fondos para la plataforma solidaria "Esabar Saharaui Badalona Cooperació", que se dedica, entre otras cosas, a organizar campamentos para niños saharuis.

La idea es tejer una manta colectiva de granny squares para incluirla en el sorteo del evento.

Crochet Motifs

Crochet Motifs es el nombre del libro que compré cuando estuvimos en NY y que ya os enseñé. Hasta ahora no me había puesto a hacer uno de los 100 motivos que hay. Aquí os enseño no sólo la primera muestra, sinó además mi primer hexágono.
Crochet Motifs is the name of the book I bought when we were in NY and already show you. Until now I had to do one of the 100 motifs out there. Here I show not only the first one, it's also my first hexagon.
Al final decidí añadir un par de vueltas más.

Creo que con el título de esta entrada queda claro para quién es la última manta que he hecho, y es que mi amiga Sira ha tenido un precioso principito llamado Gerard.

Las telas que he utilizado las compré en Nunoya, menos la de color naranja, que es de Ribes i Casals. Nada mas verlas me encantaron para una manta de niño.

I used fabrics I bought in Nunoya, except the orange, whichone I bought in Ribes i Casals. I loved them for a blanket for a child.

Para la composición simplemente he combinado las diferentes telas en cuadrados. Para el borde he aprovechado los restos de las mismas telas.

For the composition I have simply combined the different fabrics into squares. To the border I used the remains of the same fabrics.

Está cosido a máquina y acolchado a mano en tonos verde y azul. Creo que para el próximo proyecto intentaré acolchar también a máquina, jejeje...

Como la parte delantera es muy alegre, quería algo más discreto para la trasera, y al final me decidí por esta tela rayada que compré en Ribes i Casals.

Qué pena que las fotos sean tan malas! Creo que la próxima vez saldré a dar una vuelta y buscar exteriores.

Bolso japonés

Ocho meses son los que he tardado en acabar el bolso que quería hacer con las telas japonesas de Nunoya que Alex me regaló los Reyes pasados. Madre mía, con esta media por proyecto no me extraña que acabe tan pocas cosas, jeje!
Se trata de un bolso bandolera muy sencillito, en el que he combinado los distintos estampados que tenía.
Eight months is that I took to finish the bag I wanted to do with the Japanese Nunoya fabrics that Alex gave me at Christmas. Ups, with this average to make one project no wonder so few things to finish, jeje!
This is a very simple shoulder bag, which I have combined the various prints I had.

Al principio me volvía loca haciendo posibles combinaciones, pero al final me di cuenta de que con unas telas tan bonitas, las pusiera como las pusiera, quedaba bien! Una buena manera de empezar el mes de septiembre!
At first I went crazy making possible colour combinations, butfinally I realized that any fabrics combination will be so nice! A really good way to start September!

Sorpresa, sorpresa!

Menuda sorpresa! Mi amiga Mireia ha estado de vacaciones en Islandia y me ha sorprendido con el mejor souvenir: Un fantástico libro de punto típico islandés!
What a surprise! My friend Mireia has been on holiday in Iceland and I was surprised with the best souvenir: A fantastic book about Icelandic knitting!

Por supuesto que el nivel está muy por encima de mis posibilidades, pero me encanta el libro. Casi todos los modelos se basan en la técnica "Intarsia" (que yo desconocía hasta el momento). Muchos patrones pueden tejerse tanto en punto de media como en ganchillo.
Of course the level is well beyond my means, but I love the book. Most models are based on the Intarsia technique (which I know so far). Many patterns can be woven in both knitting and crochetting.

¿Quién no aprovecha el cambio de estación para hacer limpieza en el armario y sacar ropa que ya no usa?

Después de descartar aquello que podía dar la última vez, éste es el montón de camisetas que me quedó y por primera vez, decidí darles un buen uso. La idea me la dio Mercè, la profesora de crochet que he tenido este verano y que tiene su propia tienda.

Babero para bebé

Cualquier excusa es buena para empezar nuevos proyectos, pero la de tener amigas embarazadas es la mejor. Tengo una amiga a la que apenas le queda un mes para el día D, por lo que ya le estoy preparando cosas.

La mantita está a falta de acolchar, la cual mostraré cuando la haya acabado. Pero de momento tengo preparado este babero.
